NJAGC brings together families, educators, advocates, and organizations that share a commitment to understanding and supporting gifted and twice-exceptional learners. By building connections and creating opportunities for collaboration, we help strengthen the network of people working to ensure that gifted learners throughout New Jersey are recognized, supported, and given opportunities to thrive.

As an affiliate of NAGC, NJAGC stays connected to national conversations, research, resources, and best practices in gifted education. This connection helps us bring a broader perspective to our work in New Jersey while ensuring that the needs of our state’s gifted learners are represented within the larger gifted education community.

NJAGC joins with Central Jersey Mensa to reach families and community members who share an interest in giftedness and high ability. Through shared outreach and educational opportunities, we help expand awareness of the needs and experiences of gifted learners beyond the school setting.

NJAGC maintains an ongoing relationship with the New Jersey Department of Education, providing a voice for gifted learners and advocating for greater understanding and support of gifted education across the state. Through communication, outreach, and participation in statewide conversations, NJAGC works to help strengthen the systems that support gifted and twice-exceptional students.
