The Strengthening Gifted and Talented Education Act was passed in January 2020 and took effect in July 2020.

Read the new law below.
Curious what this new law might mean for your child, your family,
your students, and/or your district?

The NJ Department of Education developed an advisory committee - Strengthening Gifted and Talented Education Act Committee (SGTEAC) - of over 60 educational advocates and representatives from across our state to help families and local education agencies "Unpack the Law".

For more information, check out the committee's work HERE.
